How It Works

A standard plywood sheet is 4 feet by 8 feet (32 square feet). Always round up to whole sheets since you cannot buy partial sheets. Plan your cuts carefully using a cut diagram to minimize waste. Baltic birch plywood comes in 5x5 foot sheets instead of 4x8. Common thicknesses are 1/4", 1/2", and 3/4".
