How It Works

PVA (white/yellow) wood glue covers approximately 200-300 square feet per gallon when applied in a thin, even layer. Apply glue to both mating surfaces for the strongest bond. Open time (working time before clamping) is typically 5-10 minutes for standard glue and 15-20 minutes for extended-open-time formulas. A properly glued joint is stronger than the wood itself.
